Types of Pool Cleaning Service
Most pools need regular cleaning. Some need a single clean, and some need a deep clean with the pool drained. Pool Experts SG inspects the pool first and identifies which one fits.
Regular Pool Cleaning
Scheduled visits that keep the water surface, walls, floor and overflow channels clean all year. Book it on its own, or as part of a pool maintenance contract.
Best for: landed homes, condominiums and MCSTs, clubs, hotels and commercial pools that are in use every week.
One-Off Pool Cleaning
A single full clean, with no contract. Useful before an event, after a storm, or when you move into a home with a pool.
Best for: landed homes and private pools, and condos or clubs that need an extra clean.
Pool Deep Cleaning
A drain-and-clean: Pool Experts SG empties the pool, cleans the shell, removes scale and stains, then refills it.

What Every Regular Clean Includes
Each regular cleaning visit follows the same list of tasks, shown below.
In Singapore, heavy rain and wind put leaves and dirt into pools all year. The water also stays warm all year, and warm water helps biofilm (a thin layer of bacteria on wet surfaces) grow on the walls. Regular cleaning stops both from building up.

Surface Skimming and Debris Removal
Leaves, insects and dirt fall into an outdoor pool every day. Pool Experts SG skims the whole surface and empties the baskets on every visit.

Pool Deep Cleaning: Drain and Clean
Some dirt only comes off when the pool is empty. In a drain-and-clean, Pool Experts SG drains the pool, cleans the whole shell, and refills it with fresh water. For a licensed condo or commercial pool, NEA requires a closed pool to be cleaned, disinfected and pass all regulated water tests before it reopens.

Scale and Stain Removal

Overflow Channel and Grating Cleaning
Many condo, club, hotel and commercial pools have a deck-level overflow channel with gratings around the edge. Leaves and dirt collect under the gratings, where nobody sees them. Singapore's 2025 guidelines on pool chemicals say the channel must be free of debris such as fallen leaves, so that dosed chemicals dilute quickly.
